Withdrawing
Withdrawing (隔離態, runtime id: isolated) is a Δ stance — connection is cut for now, so the system can keep breathing.
Field definition
Connection is cut for a while; this is where retreat, sealing-away, and keeping the lowest breath live.
The "no feeling" here is often a difference held outside the door for now, not an absence of life. Cutting the line can be how a system survives something it cannot yet carry.
Three time windows
- Emotion — numbness, coolness, indifference, distance, aversion: the felt sense of a difference shut out in order to survive it.
- Attitude — retreating, sealing away, going offline: at times a protection — keeping the lowest breath when the system cannot carry more yet.
- Temperament — cool, empty, distant: what others sense is a door that is, for now, not open.
The question it asks
Which difference am I refusing? And do I need the cut in order to keep living right now?
Withdrawing differs from Releasing (releasing): withdrawing is a retreat to keep breathing, with the line cut for now and able to reopen; releasing is accepting that a path has truly ended.
It is a tool, not a score
Withdrawing is not coldness as a flaw. A retreat, or an exit, can be the move that keeps someone alive. It is read by consequence — whether it protects, and whether the door can open again later — not penalized as a stance.
